The 15th Ward includes all or parts of Brighton Park, West Englewood, Back of the Yards and Gage Park. Incumbent Ald. Raymond Lopez prevailed over several challengers to be elected to the seat in 2015. Key issues in the ward include economic development and gang violence.
Lopez is now in a rematch with 2015 challenger, Chicago Police officer Rafael "Rafa" Yáñez.
